21/3/2008 - Gens with cdrom support Mark 4
Fixed a bug that made some games freeze while loading (e.g. Annet Futatabi). Some adjustment in the code.
2/3/2008 - Gens with cdrom support Mark 3
Speed can be manually selected now. SSG EG can be disabled. CDROM tray now opens and closes correctly. Minor bugs fixed.
1/3/2008 - Compatibility list
Added a page showing the compatibility of Sega Mega CD games on Gens emulator.

Adjusted cdrom speed for better emulation, in future releases speed will be manually selectable.

Now a version of Gens emulator with real cdrom support is available for download on this site. It's still in beta stage.

Gens
Gens is a wonderful Sega Genesis/32X/MegaCD emulator. Gens was originally programmed for the Windows OS by Stephane Dallongeville, later it was ported to Linux
by Stephane Akhoun, using the BeOS version of Gens made by Caz. Many others contributed to its development, but at this moment it seems that the official version is no more
developed.
And so what?
Unfortunately Gens for Linux didn't support real cd yet. So I began to work a little on it to have this feature.
I based my work on the most advanced version of Gens that I found on the net: gens-rc3.5 with opengl support by wah_wah_69.

Gens is released under the GNU GPL (General Public Licence) and so is open-sourcesoftware.
